Introduction to MultiPOS
MultiPOS turns your WooCommerce store into a POS. A cashier opens a URL on a laptop or tablet, scans a barcode, takes cash or card, and prints a receipt. The sale lands in WooCommerce as a normal order.
There is no separate database and no nightly import. Your products, your stock, your customers and your tax rates are the ones already in WooCommerce.
Who it is for
Section titled “Who it is for”Any store that sells in person as well as online. A shop counter, a market stall, a cafe, a showroom, a pop-up.
The case for it is a single stock figure. Sell the last hoodie at the counter and the website stops offering it, because both are reading the same WooCommerce product.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”A POS in the browser. The POS runs at yoursite.com/pos. It works on a laptop, a tablet or a
phone, and needs no install.
Barcode scanning. A USB scanner types into the search field like a keyboard. Scan and the product drops into the cart.
Receipt printing. Receipts print to a thermal roll at a size you set in millimetres.
Cashier accounts. MultiPOS adds a POS Cashier role. A cashier can use the POS and nothing else in WordPress.
Its own order records. Every POS sale is tagged with the outlet and the cashier who rang it up. Each one writes a transaction row you can check against the drawer.

Free and Pro
Section titled “Free and Pro”The free version is a complete single-outlet POS. You can sell, scan, print, take payment, manage customers and check the drawer without paying anything.
In the free version:
- One outlet, with its own address, payment methods and dining tables
- The full POS terminal: products, categories, barcode entry, cart, customers, orders, statistics and settings
- Unlimited payment methods you define yourself
- Barcode assignment and label printing
- Receipt printing on one translatable template
- Cashier accounts and the POS Cashier role
- The admin dashboard, the orders list and the transactions list
- Hold and resume orders, coupons, and restaurant tables
Pro adds:
- More than one outlet, each with its own stock, receipts and payment methods
- Per-outlet stock, including CSV import
- Offline selling, with orders queued in the browser and pushed with a Sync All Orders button
- Split payments across several methods on one order
- Refunding a sale from the terminal, in whole or in part, with the stock put back
- Discounts typed in at the counter, on the whole cart or on one line
- Manual cash in and cash out, so the drawer figure covers money that is not a sale
- The Kitchen Display screen for food service
- Custom line items, weight-based pricing and the cash drawer prompt
- Order notes at checkout
- A drag-and-drop receipt composer and multiple receipt templates
- An installable app (PWA) with your own name, colours and icons
- Detailed reports with date ranges and CSV export
- LoyaltyX points and rewards inside the POS checkout, which needs that plugin as well
Every gated field is marked in the settings screen itself, so nothing disappears without telling you what it was.
