Registers (Pro)

Registers lists every register a cashier has closed, with what the drawer should have held and what was counted. Open any row to see its Z-report.

Open it from MultiPOS → More → Registers.

The Registers screen with one closed register, its sales, the expected and counted drawer, and a Short $3.50 badge

A register appears here only after a cashier presses Close Register on the POS. Until then the screen says No closed registers yet.

  • Shift: When the register was opened and closed.
  • Outlet & Cashier: The outlet, and the cashier with their photo, linked to their cashier screen.
  • Sales: Total sales in the shift and the number of orders.
  • Drawer: The expected amount and the amount counted.
  • Over / Short: Balanced, Over or Short, with the amount and the cashier’s note.

Pick an outlet from All outlets, set From and To dates, and press Filter. Reset clears them. The Cash Register Settings button beside the title opens the Cash Register tab.

Open a row to see its Z-report. The left card is the report, and the right is the printed slip, which is what the receipt printer gives the cashier to sign.

The Z-report view with the report sections on the left and the printed slip with signature lines on the right

The report has four sections:

  • Sales: Orders, items sold, average sale, coupon and cart discounts, tax collected and total sales.
  • Payments: The total for each payment method, with the number of payments.
  • Cash drawer: Opening float, cash sales, cash in, cash out and refunds, then Expected in drawer, Counted and the difference.
  • Cash in / out: Every manual movement with its reason and time.

The cashier’s note sits at the bottom. Card refunds appear on their own line, Card and other refunds (not from the drawer), because they never came out of the cash.

The slip adds the cashier, the open and close times, who approved anything, and two signature lines. Press Print Z-Report to print it, or All Registers to go back.
