Rewards (Pro)
The Rewards tab connects MultiPOS to LoyaltyX, so a loyalty programme built for your website also works at the counter.
Without it, a customer who earns points online earns nothing when they buy in the shop, which is the kind of gap customers notice.
What it needs
Section titled “What it needs”Two things:
- The Pro version of MultiPOS.
- LoyaltyX Pro, active on the same store. It is a separate plugin: get LoyaltyX.
If LoyaltyX Pro is missing, the tab shows a notice saying so instead of the fields.

Open the tab
Section titled “Open the tab”Go to DevDiggers Plugins → MultiPOS → Configuration → Rewards.

The fields
Section titled “The fields”- LoyaltyX Status, labelled Enable LoyaltyX in POS, is the master switch. It shows points and rewards to cashiers and syncs POS orders back to LoyaltyX.
- Earning Rules, labelled Award points for POS orders, calculates earned points from your active LoyaltyX purchase rules. Points are awarded when a POS order reaches the status set in Initial Order Status under Configuration → General.
- Redeeming Rules, labelled Let cashiers create LoyaltyX reward coupons in POS, lets a customer convert points or redeem an active reward rule from the cart.
- Existing Rewards, labelled Show customer LoyaltyX coupons in POS, puts coupons LoyaltyX has already generated into the reward picker. They apply like any other POS coupon.
- Allowed Earning Rules limits which LoyaltyX earning rules apply to POS orders. Leave it empty and every active earning rule applies.
- Allowed Redeeming Rules limits which reward rules a cashier can redeem. Leave it empty and every active redeeming rule is available.
The two allow-lists are the useful part
Section titled “The two allow-lists are the useful part”The switches are on or off. The allow-lists are where a programme gets shaped.
A “refer a friend” rule makes no sense at a counter. A double-points weekend might be online only. Both belong in the allow-list rather than being switched off globally, because the rule still has to work on the website.
Empty means everything, so start empty and narrow only when a rule misbehaves in store.
When points are awarded
Section titled “When points are awarded”On the order status, not on the sale. A POS order created as Completed awards points immediately. One created as On hold awards nothing until it reaches the status LoyaltyX is watching.

That catches people out on a store that takes deposits at the counter.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- General Settings for the order status that triggers earning.
- LoyaltyX documentation for the rules themselves.
- LoyaltyX product page to buy it.
