How to Reward Daily Logins (Pro)
A Daily Login reward gives members points for coming back. Unlike other earning rules, it does not award on its own. The customer claims the points, and that is what brings them to the store each day.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Set up purchase-based earning first, so the program is enabled.
Step 1: Open the earning rules
Section titled “Step 1: Open the earning rules”Go to DevDiggers Plugins → LoyaltyX → Points Rules, then open the Points Earning sub-section.
Step 2: Choose the Daily Login type
Section titled “Step 2: Choose the Daily Login type”Click Add New. On the Choose Rule Type screen, pick Daily Login.
Step 3: Set the daily points
Section titled “Step 3: Set the daily points”- Rule Name and Rule Description, such as
Daily check-in. - Points Value is how many points one day’s claim is worth.
Keep the daily amount small. The habit is the reward, not the size of each claim.
Step 4: Set conditions and activate
Section titled “Step 4: Set conditions and activate”Use Applicable to to limit the rule to certain user roles or levels. Click Save, then set the rule to Active.
What the customer sees
Section titled “What the customer sees”The customer opens the rewards area, from My Account or the floating widget, and opens the Earn tab. The daily login reward shows a Claim Points button. They press it to add the points, and it changes to Claimed until the next day.
If the button does not appear, check the rule is Active and that the customer is logged in.
