Step 3: Export

- A few conversations: Tick them, choose Export to CSV in Bulk actions and click Apply.

Step 4: Open the file
Section titled “Step 4: Open the file”The file is named order-communications- plus today’s date. It has one row per message, oldest first
within each order:
| Column | Holds |
|---|---|
| Order | The order number |
| Date | When the message was sent |
| Sender | customer, staff or system |
| Author | The name on the message |
| Private | yes for a private note |
| Message | The text |
| Attachments | Links to attached files |
The file opens cleanly in Excel, with accents intact. A cell starting with =, +, - or @ is
saved with a leading apostrophe so a spreadsheet never runs it as a formula.
Private notes are included. Remove those rows before sharing the file outside your team.
